The Quick Dry is a super-absorbent microfibre coat that slips on after a wet walk, swim or bath. The fibres pull water from the dog's coat in seconds — instead of the 10 minutes a towel takes. Your dog dries calmly. Your sofa stays dry. The hallway stops being a daily disaster.

The problem

British weather and dogs are not friends. Most of the UK's dog-walking happens in rain, drizzle, fog, snow or after a swim — and the dog comes back soaking. The traditional answer (towel and a struggle) takes 10 minutes per walk, leaves the floor wet, your clothes wet, and the dog still damp enough to ruin the sofa.

The Quick Dry replaces the towel ritual. Slip it on at the door. The microfibre absorbs water from the coat in 30–60 seconds. Take it off. Done.

Why this works

Microfibre absorbs up to seven times its weight in water. The fibres are 1/100th the thickness of a human hair, which creates a vast capillary surface area — the same principle that makes microfibre cleaning cloths so effective. The Quick Dry uses 320 GSM microfibre — a weight chosen specifically for fast-absorption without being heavy on the dog.

The coat fits via a chest strap and rear elastic band — slips on in seconds. Available in five sizes (XS to XL) covering dogs from 4 kg (Cavalier, Chihuahua) to 45 kg (Labrador, Golden Retriever, Bernese). Machine-washable at 40° and quick-drying itself.

Will it work after a bath, not just a walk?

Yes — after-bath is where it shines. Slip on, gently rub through the coat, and your dog is dry enough to walk through the house in 60 seconds.

What size for my dog?

Measure back length from neck to base of tail. XS = up to 25 cm. S = 25–35 cm. M = 35–50 cm. L = 50–65 cm. XL = 65–80 cm. If between sizes, choose larger.

Can my dog wear it on the walk?

It's primarily designed for after the wet walk. Some owners use it as a light rain layer in light drizzle — it absorbs that water too. Not waterproof in heavy rain.

Does it shed microfibre into the wash?

Less than most microfibre products. Wash with similar colours, no fabric softener. After 50 washes, no visible shedding in our tests.

Will it shrink in the wash?

No — pre-shrunk during manufacture. Wash at 40°, air-dry. No tumble drying.
